The AOPA Foundation Legacy Challenge

Your legacy gifts can have an immediate impact on AOPA programs that are building a stronger, safer pilot community.

An anonymous donor who is fully committed to securing the future of general aviation through legacy giving has pledged $1,000,000 for an AOPA Foundation Legacy Challenge to encourage other AOPA members to include and document their future gift. When you include a legacy gift to the AOPA Foundation in your estate plans, you are providing future financial support.

Now, just by documenting your legacy gift with us, 10% of the value of your legacy gift, up to $20,000, is immediately activated from the Legacy Challenge funds—and made available to essential programs funded by the AOPA Foundation. If you choose to leave the amount of your gift undisclosed, $1,000 in Legacy Challenge funds will be activated.

Gifts through a will or trust
Beneficiary designations from a retirement account or bank account, or life insurance policy
Charitable remainder trusts
Charitable lead trusts
The creation of a fully endowed fund

The Legacy Challenge ends when the Legacy Challenge funds are depleted, so document your legacy gift as soon as possible to add an immediate impact to your future generosity.
