How You Can Build a Stronger, Safer Pilot Community with your Donor-Advised Fund

If you have invested money for charitable giving in a donor-advised fund, you can easily and conveniently make an impact on the general aviation community by making a contribution to the AOPA Foundation.

Click on your fund provider's logo below to log in to your DAF account or contact the administrator of your donor-advised fund to request a grant for the AOPA Foundation. You may need to provide them with the following information:

Don’t Have A Donor-Advised Fund?

You may want to consider establishing one. A donor-advised fund (DAF) can be described as a charitable giving investment account. You contribute financial assets (for example, cash, stocks, real estate, etc.) to your donor advised fund and immediately receive a tax deduction. Those assets are invested, grow tax-free, and you can recommend grants to any qualified charity you choose.

Many of our members find they enjoy the advantages that a DAF provides, such as:

SIMPLICITY

The financial organization you choose to administer your DAF handles all the record-keeping, disbursements, and tax receipts. You simply choose where the money goes.

TAX EFFICIENCY

Contributions to your DAF are immediately tax-deductible, no matter when you decide to donate. And in the interim, any growth in your investment is tax-free.

FAMILY LEGACY

A DAF is an excellent way to continue a tradition of family philanthropy or to establish one for the future.
